Hello,

I am a coastal native, grew up in an old 1905 Victorian in Astoria living near and attending through grade school Star of the Sea School.  I come from a family of seven and lived in a neighborhood where by best friend, who was one of ten children, lived right next door.  I have enjoyed the beauty and recreational activities of living on the Oregon coast all of my life, clam digging on the beach near the Peter Eirdale wreckage and learning to windsurf on the lake near where I live now.  I have raised my three daughters in the Lincoln City community and been a member of Kiwanis Club serving as secretary for a number of years.  I love selling real estate for the enjoyment I get from seeing people realize their dream of home ownership or vacation home ownership. 

Buying a home? I have extensive knowledge of the central and north Oregon coast areas and markets having lived here all of my life and sold hundreds of properties over the past 18 years.  It's fun to show people the beautiful coastline areas and to custom fit their budget and housing needs with the specific areas and market values.

Buyer’s Service Pledge

  • I will give you my complete loyalty and honest opinions regarding location, condition and investment value of homes shown.
  • I will listen carefully to your needs and desires working with you closely as you work through the process of discovery of the many neighborhoods, types of homes and values to discover what really suits you perfectly in budget, desires and needs.
  • I will get you maps of the neighborhoods and lot so you can see a bigger picture of where the home sits in relationship to surrounding amenities.
  • I will direct you to neighborhood websites where you can access information for schools, crime rates, and provide for you CC&Rs and zoning information along with phone numbers to the planning department for any questions you may have.
  • I will get you the most complete information available for income/expense reports if you’re purchasing income producing property and/or HOA meeting minutes for the past 2 years.
  • I will prepare a CMA (Comparable Market Analysis) so you don’t overpay and will know how much to offer.
  • I will prepare the contract taking into account all aspects in protecting you as you process through inspections, financing, appraisal, repairs negotiations, closing and possession dates, prorates from rents, and personal property inclusions.
  • I will present your offer to the seller myself giving them some background on who you are and why you love their house.
  • I will prepare an events calendar so you know exactly where you are in the process as timelines approach.  If time extensions are needed I will prepare the necessary document for the parties to sign to give more time to accomplish our tasks.
  • I will arrange the appointment for inspection services ordered by you.
  • I will give you a list of local professionals for inspections, title and escrow, 1031 exchange facilitators, and contractors to do bids for repairs if needed.
  • I will assist appraisers in locating recent sales for comparables if need be.
  • I will track the loan process keeping in close contact with the lender to make sure we are on track for our timeline to close. 
  • Once we have a clear closing date I will get for you a final closing cost estimate so you know how much to bring to closing and/or you can arrange a transfer of funds if need be.
  • I’ll set up escrow signing so it’s convenient for your schedule and location.
  • I will give you contact phone numbers for local utility companies so you can transfer service on the closing date.
  • I will bring you the keys to your new home along with a closing gift for your house warming to celebrate your new purchase and to thank you for allowing me to be of service.

Selling a home? My 18 years of experience in this local market gives me a distinct advantage in knowing how to most effectively price and advertise your property to get you a quick sale for maximum value.  I use the newest technologies including multiple color photos and virtual tours and can e-mail documents to make the process efficient when it comes to paperwork.
